Hi, I'm Cbee

August 24, 2026··
Hi I’m tapering Lexapro using hyperbolic taper at 10%. Liquid lex. On lex x17 years. Tapering the last couple years. On 1.5mg for several months now as I’ve been too afraid to drop again. Hoping to find support to keep my tapering going.

Hi @Cbee, welcome! Nice to have you here at Taper Community. Since you're tapering with the liquid, you have an advantage with being able to adjust your taper pretty easily. If you find that 10% is too much, then perhaps you can reduce by less. You're getting down toward the end, so that's where the greatest changes in serotonin receptors take place. Take things slowly and listen to your body. Slower is faster when it comes to successful tapering. You've got this! Catina 💜

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Thanks Catina! Have been very worried about coping at the smaller end of the doses but so far it is tolerable
