It's so commendable that you're taking time out of your busy schedule to learn about something that is affecting so many people yet is severely misunderstood. I've personally ended up in the Emergency room numerous times due to tapering antidepressants too quickly. I think a question that needs to be asked with suicidal patients is: Did you recently stop, start, or change the dose of a psychiatric drug? Any of those things can come into play.
