Trying to taper Klonopin, first time I didn't know anything about this "med". So I CT'd and it almost killed me. Now I'm tapering on my own after reading the Ashton Manual. No help from relatives, from community, nothing. It's just me my little clan (my son and my dog) dealing with it. I will do it. Someday I won't be the same, I'll be a better human, enough to speak out about this poisons so called "meds" to prevent people from this torture.

A very warm welcome to you @Azul! I'm so sorry you experienced such harm with trying to cold-turkey Klonopin. Many people aren't aware that these drugs need to be tapered very slowly and safely. I'm glad you made it through and are able to give yourself a second chance to get off the right way. I'm sorry you don't feel supported; hopefully your son is understanding. Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Welcome Azul, we're happy to have you here. Sorry you had such a rough time cold turkeying the Klonopin - it's a wicked one to come off of. It's been a while since I tapered from that one, but the name of the game is slow. Take your time, and I believe you will do it!
