Hi @Anne, welcome to Taper Community! Yes, Trazodone can cause headaches in some people. I'm sorry you're experiencing those. You may need to taper a bit slower than you have been. Are you currently on 25 mg? https://taper.community/drugs/trazodone https://taper.community/resources/blog/trazodone-withdrawal-and-discontinuation Catina 🩷

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Thanks for your response When my dr prescribed 50 mg I was told take when needed and since was having trouble sleeping took it every night for a while but started getting so tired during the day that I decided to try 25 So after reading how to taper off, don’t know what to do because with 50 sleep well but 25 takes forever to fall asleep

You may need to reduce more gradually. Instead of a 50% cut, you could try 25%.
