Hi, been struggling and I think it is Withdrawal Akathisia from Citalopram that I have been on for at least 12 years. I only tapered because I had onset Seratonin Syndrome in January 2026 bc of a refill error on a fibromyalgia med. Need all the help I can get.

What happened since you stopped the medication? When did you develope symptoms? How fast did you have to taper?
Sorry for all the questions, just want to understand your situation better. It would make a lot of sense to develop withdrawal after such a long time taking the meds followed by fast discontinuation!
Zoloft — current 2.8 mg — 6 years — actively tapering - tapered from 50 mg
