Dear Fellow Members, We appreciate all of you being here at Taper Community. I am personally grateful that Based Psychiatrist and his assistant Domagoj created this site to help educate people about safe tapering and to receive support while doing so. What makes a peer-support site so successful is that its members all work together to encourage, inspire, and assist one another through difficult times. Every member's experience is valuable and could help someone else going through the same thing. Also, there is no question that is too dumb to ask! We need one another as we navigate our journey off psychiatric drugs. I encourage all of you to welcome new members and add your voice when you can. Sometimes all a person needs to hear is "I'm sorry you're going through this" or "I've felt that way too" to feel heard and supported. Even those of us who are listed as "staff" don't always have all the answers and need the help and support of fellow members.
