Extreme rage/anger before stabilization?

Since my crash and updose, I have felt like a shell of myself with apathy and sadness. Very little emotional bandwidth other than crying from feeling like crap. I am on day 22 of my updose. Today I finally woke up with extreme rage/ anger. I feel my strength coming back but also feeling anxious about the amount of anger I have. Is this normal before stabilization?

Zoloft —50 mg to 15 mg — 8 years with a cold turkey and reinstatement in between— was liquid micro tapering, crashed at 14.275 mg and now holding at 15 mg.

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Thank you Catina. I’m wondering if it’s just the last phase before I stabilize. Each day the symptoms are dropping off more and more so I do think I’m getting better. Just trying to find some hope that this will be over soon.

That's great to hear! You ARE stabilizing Maria...that is exactly what happens. I know it's hard to be patient, but time and patience are the greatest healers during this challenging journey. You'll get there, I can say that with confidence! 👍

I know it's hard, and I understand you want things to return to the way they were. You're still there, and you're life is still there - a bit altered temporarily - but still there underneath it all. I find that acceptance goes a long way and then adapting the best you can. ❤️
