35th Effexor Update - Feeling Okay

I'm feeling better today than I did yesterday. However, I've decided to attend a meeting this morning on Zoom rather than in person to give my CNS some extra rest. I've been on these drugs for so long, it's going to take awhile for my system to learn how to deal with stress again as I taper off. I'm in this for the long haul and am willing to soldier through whatever withdrawal throws at me because I desperately want to be drug-free! I know a better life is waiting for me.

Knowing your limits around meetings or social events is half the battle! It’s how boundaries get set.
When you can say, “I can’t do it this way, but I can do it another way,” you give your nervous system room to breathe instead of forcing it into one rigid option. And ya, there is a better life waiting for you... hugs 🤗
