Based on my own experience with duloxetine, I don't think it's a good idea to make short-term dose changes while also starting a strict diet. That's too many changes at once, and it becomes almost impossible to figure out what's causing which symptoms. Give yourself plenty of time after each dose adjustment, and focus on eating a balanced, healthy diet. In my experience, weight loss tends to happen naturally when you eat more mindfully. Trying to maintain a significant calorie deficit during withdrawal has only caused me more problems and confusion. I hope things settle down for you soon.
