"Feeling bad. Been having bouts of irritability, headache, anxiety, and crying spells. The high levels of anxiety have affected my thinking. Intrusive thoughts."

Hi @Rose8, sorry to hear you're struggling. Are things still getting worse around your cycle?
Do you have a supportive person at home that you can talk to and understands? How about a compassionate therapist? If you don't have either of these things, please know that we're here. It's important for you to be able to express how you're feeling and be reassured that you're safe and this will pass.
Do you find that trying to focus on something else helps at all? Can you write down some positive affirmations for yourself? I know firsthand how overwhelming and scary anxiety can feel, but try to soften into it and just allow yourself to feel it. You're safe and it can't harm you. It's just excess adrenaline, that's all.
Sometimes just getting up and walking around can ground us and help us feel in control of things. Here are some grounding exercises you can do: https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/fixing-families/201905/upset-10-grounding-techniques
You're not alone, so reach out anytime you need to. We're here for you! 💜
