6th Zoloft Update - Feeling Fair

August 31, 2026··
Feeling fair. Been having bouts of nausea, fatigue, and insomnia. The insomnia is getting better. I was able to sleep 5 hours last night so a huge improvement from the 2-3 hours the night before. My body has to get used to being at 15 mg so just need to heal and hold here until thing settle down.

Maria A.’s taper progress

Dose (mg)
Mood (/10)

Zoloft —50 mg to 15 mg — 8 years with a cold turkey and reinstatement in between— was liquid micro tapering, crashed at 14.275 mg and now holding at 15 mg.

The sleep improvement is a solid sign your body is adjusting, even if the nausea and fatigue are dragging. That pattern of symptoms easing in one area while others linger is really common when holding at a new dose. Happy things are looking up!

Today was the second day at 15 mg and still having withdrawal symptoms like burning pain in arms and flulike feelings but it happens in windows. I’ve also had windows of feeling calm and better. My question would be- how do I know this dose is going to help me stabilize? If it doesn’t, how long should I wait for the next updose?
