69th Effexor Update - Feeling Okay

Doing so-so at the moment. I think the reason why I've been feeling so tired and depressed lately is that my thyroid is underactive. My hair has also gotten a bit more thinner and brittle than it was before. It really sucks! I had to lower my dose of my Levothyroxine because it was causing insane anxiety. So the anxiety is better, but now I'm having all these other symptoms. I'm going to do some research on how to handle this issue. Maybe switching to brand name Synthroid would be better. My GP says that some people have issues with the generic form. I don't know, but I plan to find out how to deal with this thyroid issue without sending my anxiety over the edge again. I just want to feel better! Sending everyone lots of love and support on this Friday! 💜

I didn't know levothyroxine could cause anxiety, I am on 75mg for the last seven months. I am going to do some research also. I hope you are feeling better soon! I definitely understand about just wanting to feel better, I am with you there. 💗

I didn't know either! My best friend's husband had issues with it, and I'm SO thankful she suggested that perhaps my dose was too high. At the time I was on 75 mcg. So I lowered it to 50 mcg, which helped a little at first but the anxiety continued. After I lowered it to 25 mcg the anxiety got much better.
