Feeling poor. Been having bouts of brain zaps, insomnia, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and electric shock sensations.
I currently have what seems to be the flu (respiratory symptoms with fever, chills, muscle aches). But I have noticed that I'm having a lot of brain zaps and "whooshiness" in my head, despite not altering my dose. Usually brain zaps are an acute symptom for me and settle down quickly.
Has anyone found illness to exacerbate withdrawal symptoms?
Either that or my method of cutting the tablets in half and crushing and mixing with water before getting my dose with a syringe is no longer precise enough ๐ค

To answer my own question, I've found a possible answer online:
During illness, when your immune response increases, your metabolism increases too, which means you metabolise medication faster. That will probably be why I've been getting brain zaps and heart palpitations all day, every day -- I take my medication in the evening and it must wear off overnight.
A solution may be to split the dose.
