Feeling good. No specific symptoms.
I'm reducing tonight to 0.22mg. I'm not looking forward to the nausea/headache/diarrhoea situation, but hoping it'll be better than last time because it's a 14% reduction instead of 17%...
The Horowitz and Taylor (I think) schedule went from 3-6 months on 0.4mg to 0.1mg for 3-6 months. I've already taken 28 months to get from 2mg to 0.25mg. I feel like I should be able to jump to 0.1 from here. But I know that'd be a mistake.
When I get frustrated and impatient like this, I re-read the article here about tapering risperidone and am reminded of the risk of psychosis and tardive dyskinesia. An episode of psychosis would really screw up my taper schedule because I'd end up on a ton of new meds and probably 5mg of risperidone. It's a minefield. I am very glad this app exists so I can babble away and figure out what I'm doing.
