4th Celexa Update - Feeling Poor

September 14, 2026··
Feeling poor. Been having bouts of insomnia, irritability, anxiety, depression, crying spells, and fatigue. Holding at 3.26mg for the last 7 weeks. My physiological anxiety has eased up, but general anxiety, depression, low self worth and occasional SI are frequent companions. I historically had body dysmorphic disorder, which I dealt with through medication and avoidance. It has flared up over the last year and very badly in the past few months. I know I need professional help but am worried about deep processing in my current state.

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. Yes, sometimes trying to get professional "help" while going through withdrawal isn't always the best thing. It takes a lot of mental and emotional energy. This may sound weird to you, but I sometimes use ChatGPT for therapy. It's much easier than talk therapy, and I've actually found it quite helpful. I struggle with dermatillomania, so I can somewhat relate to your struggles. Here are some resources listed by the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation. I'm not sure if you're familiar with them, but just thought I'd share. ❤️ https://bddfoundation.org/information/helpful-resources/

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg
