4 weeks since going from Paxil 40 to 35 - Feeling Poor

Feeling poor. Been having bouts of nervousness, sadness, GI upset, overwhelm associated with noise, lights crowds, and executive functioning issues. Lots of strong feelings, so I am just trying to ride the wave. I plan to chill at this dosage level for the next few months, so I can adjust to the change and enjoy life for a bit before I do another change.

Hi @Patty, thanks for checking in. That sounds like a lot with what you're dealing with. I think you're smart to just "ride the wave" until it recedes. It will in time so hang in there. There's no rush. It's a marathon, not a sprint. 👍

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

@Patty sorry you are struggling so much. I’m experiencing reinstating from failed rapid taper and failed switch. Reinstating and holding. Similar symptoms. Was told it wasn’t withdrawal but allowing new meds to work. Totally wrong advice! Please go very very slowly and hold when you need to.

Paxil — 20 mg — 20 years. Went off now back on — holding
Trazadone 37.5 mg
Buspar 5 mg two times a day
