36th Effexor Update - Feeling Poor

April 14, 2026··
Didn‘t track the last 2 days, they were a little exhausting but today is good again. I‘m tracking „poor“ today only for the record, i‘m indeed okey again. I slelpt over 6h the last days, that was great. But i had like depressive thoughts, anhedonia and irritability, feelable but not very strong! Just uncomfortable and sudden. I never the less went out to a birthday, felt overwhelmed first (but masked it well) but with time (and yes, sry, some beer) i opened up more and had good talks, even felt pretty okey again. But i‘m glad i did not had the option to play at their jamsession, didn‘t feel focused for that. Came home late. Had a bit of hangover next day but very glad that it resolved around midday and started to feel great. Practiced the instrument a lot and after 3 weeks of practice, finally mastered a hard piece i want to show at the next gigs today. Excercised well. Ate well. If there wouldn‘t be those 2-day crashes, i‘d really like to taper 1 bead to see how it works out. So much to do, so much i want to accomplish. But not today, now i sleep (pls 6 hours again). Good night warriors.

I can tell you're a very motivated person who likes to accomplish a lot. Going through withdrawal really tests that because sometimes we realize we just can't do it all. But it's okay. We shouldn't beat ourselves up too much. You're doing the best you can. Nighty night!

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

I'd give yourself a few more days to recover from your crashes and then try reducing by the one bead. You'll get there, poco a poco and one bead at time ⚪
