Feeling good. Been having bouts of nausea and sweating.
The nausea is mild but annoying. The sweating is excessive. I'm thinking again about reducing vortioxetine to see if the sweating improves. My GP retired at the start of the year and I haven't discussed tapering with my new one. He's just been prescribing the liquid risperidone because I was already on it when we met. I have no idea how he'll feel about changing doses without psychiatric input. I really don't want to see my psychiatrist again, I always seemed to end up on more drugs after appointments with her...
The other thing on my mind, sorry for venting here, is quitting smoking. I've been smoking for 23 years, with a year or two off for times I managed to quit. I have previous experience of quitting, not being able to sleep and getting hypomanic (then manic, psychotic and depressed). So I won't be stopping cold turkey again. My GP recommended a vape and gradually reducing the nicotine content. I've never vaped before, but I'm interested. I'd LOVE to not smoke. It would really change my life.
Anyway. Risperidone taper is going great. I'm not reducing the dose in October because I'm going to be busy and stressed out, and don't want to overdo it.
I hope everybody else is doing well.
