Feeling great. No specific symptoms. What a horrible week of increasing insomnia, nausea. So just upped the dose y/day and holding for a month or so, then re-starting at a lower cut rate. Slept very well, at last. Hope the trend continues, should do.

Went to a new doctor today as my previous one is only available every other Friday and now on holiday till early December! I was looking for a female doctor who would hopefully know about hyperbolic tapering, that being the method endorsed by our medical school, and the only workable one, especially when tapering at the low doses, and almost as important, she has to be available most days. She has an honours degree in medicine, but from a city in the south Pacific, so fearing the worst but hoping for the best, I went I armed with a copy of receptor occupancy curves (x-axis doses, y-axis percentage receptor occupancy) for several SSRI's, and a few other bits and pieces. Turned out this was a very advisable tactic, as for the first 20 mins of a theoretical 15 min appointment I had to spend it giving a spiel about hyperbolic tapering to a very sceptical, though very nice, young lady doctor. She agreed to go along with helping me though, even though she qualified this with "Well, I'm happy since the previous doctor agreed", but hopefully she goes away and has a think. What we have to go through, eh?๐ Continuing the crusade to educate (some of) the professionals,๐ฉ๏ธ R. (and as a footnote she at least said "it makes sense")
