2nd Zyprexa Update - End of 1st week on 7.5mg - Feeling Okay

Feeling okay. Been having bouts of mild insomnia, mild difficulty concentrating, slight dizziness, and slight fatigue. Going to sleep well but lately jolt awake about 3-4 hours in and seem to have big spells half awake and half asleep there on in. My work output is slightly slower due to having difficulty concentrating, I don't have racing thoughts, my mind just feels a little burdened which is probably partly related to feeling slightly dizzy and tired.

Nice ! Just be careful 7.5mg is at least for me a threshold where going lower can become a much bigger decline much faster if not doing water taper ! What is your plan for reductions Nathan ? Best of luck

Thanks, I noticed on this site that 10% reductions are a rough guideline for Olanzapine, so hopefully when I see my psychiatrist next, I can convince him to go down that path. Next appointment is in 8 weeks, if it gets tough, I might see him earlier.

I have plans that follow 10% 7.5% and 5% ranging from 4 to 6 weeks holds which can be extended by personal needs. 10% is just in my opinion as fast as you can go with olanzapine safely

Cool, sounds like you know what your talking about. Yeah, I'm pretty keen for 10% or maybe less, safety is a high priority for me, not sure if I should start that now, but for now I feel comfortable seeing how the next 8 weeks go.
