2nd Effexor Update - Feeling Poor

Having a bad day. Woke up with horrible anxiety and have not been able to shake it all day. It’s hovering and skulking at the edges biding its time.

It’s horrific. Sometimes I just want to take the full dose of the Effexor and quit. It takes everything I have not to.

Can I ask you a question? On 8/11 a prescriber who does not understand tapering wrote me a Rx for 10 mg of Prozac bridge. I was down to FOUR beads of Effexor. I just got off with one of the providers from this site who unfortunately is not licensed in Florida. She told me to immediately taper off the Prozac. She said to try 1/2 of capsule. Since I’ve only been on it 17 days, how long do you think I should do each dose for? I am hoping to get a liquid Rx next week.

Ahh its really hard to tell. I wouldnt venture into giving medical advice on the internet without conducting a thorough clinical exam first. With that heing said considering its a short time frame, you can be more agressive with the cuts. But its on you to decide when and how. Ill work on finding you someone in Florida asap

Everything I’ve read says it takes 4 weeks for the body to adapt to it. I would like to just stop.
