2nd Effexor Update - Feeling Good

Feeling much better since topping up to 31mg. Had a bit of a shock today though as when i opened a new pack of venlaflaxine i saw that they were filled with tiny beads rather than 3 big beads as before. How do others manage with the tiny beads. They are a nightmare to count etc. would be grateful for any tips

Hi @AnnaJane, I'm glad you're feeling better at your current dose. When tapering, it's always best to stick with one formulation and manufacturer. Can you contact your pharmacy and request your previous manufacturer? Many times pharmacies will change up manufacturers to try and get the cheapest price, but that's not always helpful for people who are tapering. You can tell your pharmacy to put a note in your chart that you need the same manufacturer at all times. And even with doing that, with each refill you should make sure they are complying with your request. It's something that you'll need to stay on top of because sometimes it can get overlooked. It's happened to me before.

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg
