2nd Cymbalta Update - Feeling Great

Feeling great. No specific symptoms. I plan to do a linear taper of 10mg every 4 weeks until I get to 30mg at which point I will taper by 10% every 4 weeks. I also do a keto diet which seems to help.

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Hi Catina Yes I started on 90mg and have been tapering by 10mg every 4 weeks and am currently on 60mg. My doctor has me on the linear taper and I told her I want to do the hyperbolic 10% taper starting after 30mg as that is when I understand the taper can get tricky for Cymbalta. I have not had any withdrawals.

That's great to hear! Just keep in mind that sometimes withdrawal symptoms can appear later, so I don't want you to be surprised or disheartened if that does happen. Hopefully things will continue to go smoothly for you!

Yes thanks for pointing that out. I tapered Zoloft before (too fast) and had withdrawals like brain zaps.
