1st Celexa Update - Feeling Good - Mar 4

March 4, 2026··
taper update
Feeling good. No specific symptoms. I tapered a few days ago, from 3.7mg to 3.6mg, or about 2.7% this time. I have been doing a weekly taper of approximately 2.5%, and will now hold for a few weeks to allow things to settle (brassmonkey's sliding taper). I have recently experienced some family-related stress over the course of a week, during which time I had an alcoholic drink or two on a few occasions. This caused an anxiety relapse and a fair bit of emotional dysregulation for a good few days. I feel like it's left my system now and I'm feeling level again, but it's been a good reminder to remain sober; even one drink has the potential to affect my progress. Currently feeling a lot of gratitude for feeling "normal" -- generally being calm, present with my kids, and being able to enjoy the simple things.

Hi yours was the first name that popped up - I just signed up and filled out my profile but there was no "save" and I've lost it all now. Perhaps you could direct me. Thanks in advance. So glad there is another place to go. 👍

Hi AJ, and welcome! Yeah, many people find that alcohol can be such a destabilizing factor. Even some people who thought they were "recovered" from withdrawal have experienced a setback by consuming alcohol.

Hi Bawnee, and welcome! I've had similar issues. They're trying to resolve any bugs in the site. What I've had to do is copy what I have written (so it doesn't get lost), refresh the page, and then paste everything back in. That usually resolves it. Hope that helps! 🙂

Hi Bawneen! Welcome. So sorry for that. I built this website myself over a week of vacation (and im unfortunately not a software engineer). So bugs etc are something that Im working hard to get rid of. Ive pushed 2 updates already which make things a little better, but sometimes after some clicking around, when clicking on a new button the loading still gets stuck someti,es. Usually if you refresh everything works, you just lose what you wrote. For now i suggest copying a post before hitting post just incase, but please stick around, I will be adding a fix for this very soon!
