18th Abilify Update - Feeling Okay - Week 5

September 18, 2026··
Day 33 (7.5 mg → 5 mg) Chronic Weakness: Improving slightly. I still require a lot of rest throughout the day, but I can now manage a few minutes of brisk walking. I am still taking 5 mg of procyclidine to manage aripiprazole EPS stiffness; while it isn't completely covering the symptoms, I do not plan to increase the dose. Sleep: Fragmented following the reduction, but it has since stabilized to an average of around 7 hours per night, and I can now sleep for 5-6 hours without interruption. I am dealing with constant bloating, which causes urinary urgency and sometimes wakes me up. I am a bit unsure whether the midnight awakenings were due to dose reduction, the urinary urgency, or a mix of both, but I log every detail and track multiple metrics on a spreadsheet. Once the procyclidine-induced bloating and urinary urgency resolve, I will be able to track my sleep quality more accurately. Around day 10 post-reduction and on a few mornings since I felt noticeably good. Although I am still on a higher dose, I am starting to feel a tiny bit like myself again.
