12th Lexapro Update - Feeling Excellent

July 27, 2026··
taper update
I haven't updated my taper log for some time, actually because nothing has changed--and that's good. Having started my taper from 5 mg a year ago till now, I've had zero symptoms. I plan to take one more step down in a couple weeks and then after holding that reduction, jump off at .66 mg. Funny, over the 7 years of being on Lexapro, I have experienced zero discernible benefit from it, zero side effects from it,, and zero discontinuation symptoms, even with therapeutically prescribed dosages ranging from 5 - 20 mg.

Yep, no news is good news, as the saying goes!

Very, very interesting. It's funny how we're all so different! I'm really happy for you and hope that things continue this way.
