I’ve noticed my shaking gets worse during sleep. I also feel a faint shudder with my pulse. These have me concerned. I had symptoms before I started tapering (which also has me concerned!) but the shaking became worse afterwards, and the strange pulse-shudder (probably not noticeable to anyone else) began after the taper. Can anyone tell me of this is normal?
What you’re describing is well-recognized in SSRI discontinuationg. Tremor and myoclonic jerks (sudden involuntary muscle twitches) are among the most commonly reported withdrawal symptoms, and they typically get more pronounced at sleep onset and during sleep
Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 18.88 mg Trazodone - 50 mg Levothyroxine - 25 mcg “Your brain and body know how to heal. Trust the process and keep going.”

It's quite possible that your drug was starting to "poop out" on you. When this happens, you can experience withdrawal symptoms while still being on the drug.
